DragonWhile sitting in the woods one day
Spotted, I did, a beast with scales of a silver tint
Fear and wonder coursed through my veins
I stayed frozen in my stance, and not a word did I say
As it moved close, I swore I could see its eyes glint
Its eyes were as dark as clouds of rain
And when I thought it would attack
It stopped and froze just as I

TakenBetter to never touch than never be able to let go
Suppose that’s how it works, but how would he know?
He slowly lifts up his head and opens his eyes
To see there’s no life left to live within the scope of this light

Here he can see that everyone’s gone, everyone left
The shadows give his mind room to play
They bring back the ones he needs to feel home
To make the beating in his chest hurt a little less
Complacency brings the warmth back to his hands
Just as they used to be before the cold came to embrace him
Hands that held so much, fought so many battles
Once had a dream, once served a purpose

Here and Gone AgainOn days like that, she would turn to her scissors.

They were constantly there, on the nightstand next to her bed. But she'd never used them like that before.

The very first time is still ingrained in her mind, tinged with both regret and satisfaction. She'd been frustrated. Angry. Upset. Guilty. Nothing ever worked. Everything she did just made it worse. Creative blocks never left; mental breakthroughs never came. She was never good enough. And that was it.

Untitled 1Sometimes I feel as if no one is really there. They say they will always care for me but then turn their backs on me or just try and betray me. Sometimes all I want is for someone to actually care and want to help me instead of just trying to make it worse on me. The only thoughts that go through my head are that they use me and don't even care.

Every time I find that one someone they always end up doing the same thing to, they walk away from me, driving a knife through me. It feels hopeless for me to even try anymore, Im always told never to give in but sometimes the pain becomes to much and that seems like the only opinion left....I just wUntitled 1 by ~ShyyVonVanity

I RememberWhile your were on your deathbed, I was listening.

Carefully listening to life’s last rhythms, I watched you breathe your hurried breaths. The smell of the room, the thinness of your body as you were immobile, painted against the small room and the beat of your struggling heart. I remember leaning over you, waiting for you to wake with your eyes so bright.

And I spoke to you slowly, I remember, with loving whispers in your ear, low murmurs meant for you alone, a lover’s whisper. And I prayed to God that you would hear me, because I was so afraid I was only speaking to myself, to an empty room of strangers.

Within the Pages Chapter 3He woke up the next morning not as Lucius, but as Fredrick. The first thought that came to his mind was Chester’s unsettling words from the previous night:

“My master’s going to hear about this!”

The phrase repeated over and over in Fredrick’s head. Who was his master? It got on his nerves that Chester wanted Tabitha’s land. But what REALLY infuriated him was that Chester wanted to take her for her money.

But Chester’s words kept repeating in his head, something wasn’t right...

“DAH!” Fredrick yelled at the top of his lungs and fell out of his bed. Silas was standing over him.

What would YOU like to read?As of right now, I have 4 book ideas. Only three of which I've actually written opening chapters for. The point of this post is to find out which of these projects I should more focus on, based on the desires of my readers. Insanity... Chapter One (Part 1 of Black Butler) Ruins...The remains of a village splayed upon the soil. Dust blanketing the wood of the damaged buildings. I know this place...I've been here before. Perhaps in a distant memory that I do not recall. Yet this scene is familiar. The air is thick with fog, it clouds my thoughts...my feelings. The fog seemed to grow weaker as a structure peeked into my vision. My throat begins to close, tears threaten to pour as I stared at my home. Plants entangled their vines on the building. Windows were cracked, the door missing. Then I saw it. A cloaked figure placed in a rocking chair. A woman's voice sang a four note tune...the tune I grew to hate.

I must be imagining it…it is far to ironic
To how I felt one simple day before I read it.
That word.
Heartbroken.

I am not really heartbroken.
My heart is still pumping,
And for that I'm thankful.
It still works and continues on
No matter what my feelings are.
It still quickens and slows with my emotions but
Keeps going.
I wish I were like my heart…
